What's a good cleaning solution for ZL1 rims?

I ain't to long just purchased a 15 ZL1? Just wondering what's a good wheel cleaner to use on the wheels? That will not fade or turn the color of the wheels. Y'all guys let me know what good cleaning agents y'all use?

I just use apc diluted about 50%. Don't let it dry on the wheels. I generally do the wheels first then soap 'em up with car wash shampoo before I start on the car to "hold" them until the final rinse. Helps to keep them from water spotting.

I use the same car soap I use for car with wheel woolie and wash kit. I don't have your rims but mine are matte black and I coated them with Optimum Gloss Coat. Super easy to clean. And no need to wax regularly cause the coating should last a couple of years.

Eagle One Aluminum wheel cleaner for a couple of years now. I wasted money on some of the exotic stuff and this stuff works fine. Spray it on, clean the wheels with your normal brushes and hose or power wash off. Gets that brake dust right off which is like every time you move the car. I also put on a good wheel wax at the beginning of the year.

It depends how much you drive your car and how dirty the wheels get.
Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner is a miracle for brake dust.

However, it does not do anything for oily-based road grime.
Turtle Wax car soap works very well, if you are willing to do each wheel by hand.

Simple Green. 50-50 mix with water. Spray on, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then rinse off. If it doesn't get it all off, then repeat.

Mix 30% car soap and 70% water in a spray bottle that's all you need, get a Daytona wheel brush and woolies. do NOT use any type of "cleaners". Cleaners will dull out the clearcoat over time.

Sonax full effect. You still need to hand wash the wheels though.

Agreed, though mine might be a 30-70 mix pending and I use a microfiber towel and clean it off that way. But I do each wheel by hand as mine are powdercoated white so they collect dirt and grime easily. I do it once a week. Works great.

Yeah, I started using Simple Green on my Harley. Nothing sucks worse than brake dust on spoked wheels. This stuff works miracles.

I used SONAX until one day I ran out so I bought the Eagle 1, never looked back does the exact same thing, save your $$.. The diff is in what you coat your wheels with..
