Does not look plain to me, but black rims do look good with yellow camaros.

The ZL1 rockers with the 1LE splitter is a great combination. I'm planning on going that route myself on my IOM SS.

If it were my car, I would do the following:
- add the V-8 front fascia
- add the body colored grille
- add the 1LE splitter
- add ZL1 rockers (painted the way they would from the factory)
- add ZL1 rear diffuser (with factory finish)
- add SLP gill decals (these will break up expanse of yellow on side of car)
- add ZL1 rock guards

Alternately, you could do the following:
- much of the above with the following changes:
- add ZL1 front fascia
- add ZL1 splitter
- add ZL1 hood

I think the thing you are missing is a drop, which IMO is much more important than a set of rockers..Changes the look of the car much more.

Adding a bunch of vinyl stuff on the sides would make it look bad, not a fan of folks with a bunch of vinyl stuff on the side of their cars.

Also sometimes cars without a sunroof/moonroof look really plain too.

I think what's making your car look "plain" is those wheels, not the decals or lack thereof. Obviously a new set of wheels is going to cost more than a new set of stripes but I don't think the dual stripes look bad by themself.

^^^^^ Agreed. A sunroof would be a nice addition to the appearance

I planned to get the MRR wheels first, but the price for them mounted and shipped are way more expensive that the extra body parts im getting. Just realized I can buy the plasti dip from local stores instead of getting it via the net. I get off the road tomorrow and will get some to dress up the wheels. Like others have said, black wheels look good on yellow cars.

Agreed.... I got creative with a rattle- can, just for giggles, but liked it so much and regularly get rave reviews, so I kept 'em:
