2010 camaro ss problems
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and to camaro. I bought a used 2010 2ss/rs with 46000 miles on it. Now it has 59000 miles. Few weeks ago I started to have a hesitation/jerking and stalling when I come to a stop but still no check engine light yet. At idle the rpm goes up and down before it stalls. When the cil finally came on I took it to auto zone and had the codes read. I got po102 and po113. I replaced both sensors maf and map but that didn't fix it. After 3 starts or trips the cil will turn off but the symptoms remain. Did that few times until today I took it back to read the codes again, it had, po102,107,113,300,352,353,354,355,and 358. I had replaced the spark plugs and wires 2 weeks ago and I do have spark from the coils. Anyone had a similar problem here? Is it the fuel pump? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks |

Flow master mufflers. The new spark plugs didn't help with symptoms. I checked for vacuum leaks but found none. It gets worse with traffic.

Also need to use 90+ octane fuel and do the fuse pull to reset the octane table.

Do you really think it's the maf? I tried two from autozone, duralast and dorman but those didn't fix it. Do you recommend a certain brand? And I did the fuse pull and that didn't fix the problem. But I'll do it again later.

When is the last time you cleaned your throttle body inlet ? Get some good old fashioned gum out and push open the butterfly and clean the edges all the way around. With the car OFF of course. Could be a faulty idle control

Could be a weak maf, could be bad gas (what gas station and what grade fuel do you use?), could be a bad injector, but i'd imagine that would throw a code quicker, as well as a misfiring spark. Why not have the dealer diagnose it instead of just tossing parts at it? Could be cheaper in the end

It all started when my wife put race track gas in it. But few weeks ago, since then it's been all 93 octane from shell or chevron. I did the fuse pull but that didn't fix it. I'm gonna have to take it to the dealer to diagnose it guess.

89 octane. But you would think after few fill ups of 93 octane and the fuse pull overnight it would run fine.
