You know something.... rather than going through all this crap, GM should set it up that so that we could use the Onstar to trace our cars.

Has anybody tracked their car going into Walbridge Ohio? I havent seen anyone elses go there. It's heading to North Carolina.

It is not activated UNTIL it hits the dealership... the dealer enables it.

When activated, that is when your 1 year trial starts. I like the idea, though. It *might* work on the train.. not sure though.. it is based on cellular technology and the metal boxcar would mess with the cell signal.

ok i call csx and they say im at griffith indiana so that is good only 32 miles from chicago. i call UP and she wont recognize my voice every time i say my car number ettx908511 the voice thinks im saying cttx. so i need to know when my car will arrive at industry if anybody can help that would be great. I also found out that the car is being delivered by a non union trucking company to the delear ship is there any way to track that? and finally are we allowed to talk to real people at union pacific. Thanks in advance.

Enter your letters in number form... 32818192 = ETTA, then enter 908511. This is MUCH easier than trying to "say" your letters.

Instead of saying the car # you can type in the #. I believe you would have to type in 32818192 for the prefix followed by your car # 908511.

thats the info i got when the voice repeated cttx. i wonder if my train car is on the same train? the other weird part is its not 1006 yet.
