Efi live questions
Ok so I had my car tuned. Was told that the map sensor was causing problems and it was decided to turn to the speed density sensor. What one is better to tune from? The car currently runs like crap. I had an issue with fuel pressure regulator not working correctly. The fuel pressure was at 130psi. It was un seen as I had no gauge on it. After a few pulls on dyno the pressure was checked. The fuel pressure regulator was changed and new installed. Car has 60psi fuel. The fuel pressure regulator I believe is what was causing the issue with the map sensor not the map sensor it self. That's is why I ask the question of what is better to tune from. Currently the car does not like part throttle at all loads up pops smokes at wide open throttle. Could I have damaged the injectors with the 130 psi fuel pressure? If so how to I find out for sure. Another question I have is if someone tunes on efi live and I purchase the program will I see the map that was installed and be able to make adjustment on it or will it be locked?

The MAP sensor is used for Speed density tuning.
The MAF sensor is used for MAF tuning. Fuel pressure is an integral part of the tune. Your car should have a constant 58 PSI You must ask your tuner if he locked the tune or not before you purchase EFIlive or try an have someone else tune it for you. Ted. Quote:
