Battery or computer issue???

This morning I tried to remote start my 2011 LT. I t made a clunck sound, but did not start. I went outside to use the key, and it would not unlock. after awhile, it unlocked itself. When I put the key in the ignition and turned it, all of my lights on the dash were on and my wipers started going. When I turned the key to start the car, it cluncked and all of the lights went out. Then the technostalgia taillights started flashing and they will not turn back off. I am going to try and jump start when I get a chance but need some ideas here. I am in panic mode over this.

First thing I would do is disconnect the battery. Let it sit for five minutes, then reconnect it. This will reboot everything and might fix the problem. If not, then try a new battery. These cars do weird stuff when the battery gets ready to croak.

Had to leave work cause it had my mind going crazy. jumped it and started right up. Then realized that the passenger side window was down just a bit. Think my son did not close the door correctly last night and the battery got drained. Thanks for the input red2014ss, my mind is at ease again.

How would the door closing affect your battery? All the cabin lights time out after 10 minutes.

Is this the original battery in your 2011? Might be time for a new one.

Battery has been in since I bought it with 800 miles on it. Already purchased a new Optima to replace the original.

Sounds like the battery for sure. These cars do wild shit on low voltage. My wife's daily driver is sitting in the garage as we speak because she was messing with her phone yesterday and left the key in ACC. The wipers were half way up and they had never been turned on.
