Where to get Auto X decals

Looking for help on where to buy quality autox decals. And should I get magnetic or reuseable vinyl. Also, do you need #'s on your car for a track day? I know a magnet is no good at high speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Track decals.com

I've had my magnetic numbers up to 150 mph with no issues.

Got some while ago. Think they are doing 25% off now.

Worst case, or if (like mine) your magnetic numbers don't lay perfectly flat on the door, just use a little of that blue painters' tape on the leading edges of your numbers. If it's a wet day, make sure that where you're sticking the tape to is dry. This is for tracking; you shouldn't have to tape the numbers down for autocrossing at all.

Picture is from the Camaro5/AutoInterests track day last June @ Mid-Ohio.

I don't remember the site, but I'll post it after work. I bought a full set of magnetic 0-9 numbers for both sides of the car. Just in case someone has my number signed in before I get it.

Agreed, the magnetic ones will not come off on track let alone Auto X. Good investment to get away from straight up painters tape numbers

I custom make decals as well if there's something you need- Not a business, though.

I've run magnetic for years on many cars and never lost one at high speed. I think I'm going with regular vinyl this time, but will have some magnetic in the trunk to cover those in case I need to change my NASA number for an SCCA event.

I get mine from http://www.soloperformance.com/.

Sometimes they're a bit slow getting orders out, but they've always been right and customer service was really helpful even over email.

I got a bit baffled once when I stuck mine on the hood to warm up in the sun, plus heat from the engine. When they didn't stick I was scratching my head, and then it dawned on me, the hood is aluminum.

I asked the vette guys once too why they didn't just get magnetic numbers, that was a dumb question haha.

I too use Painters Tape - I've lost a few Magnetics at Speed!
