2010 SS auto jerking
Hi all,
First post here so hopefully the community can help ! I am a Brit currently in the Middle East (Qatar) and have a 2010 Auto SS with about 60k on the clock. Had it about 9 months and no problems. However, the last couple weeks, when driving the car in Drive mode, I can sometimes feel a jerking when the car is trying to auto Change gears and the Rev counter is quite jumpy. It doesn't happen constantly but is noticeable when it occurs. When it happened again Yesterday, I drove it in manual mode with the paddle shifters and had no issues. Also, when in drive mode and coming up to a stop, I sometimes get a big jerk as if someone has rear ended me. As you can imagine, the Chevrolet maintenance/dealership in Qatar isn't the best, so wanted to know if anyone has experienced what I have described above so I have a chance to explain it as best I can to the dealership here. Any help would be much appreciated. Sav |

Start with the basics. Get under the car and look for transmission leaks.

There are no leaks anywhere that i can see. I don't want to take it to the dealership without some areas for them to check, as I said in my original post, there not exactly the easiest to communicate with and describe mechanical problems.
