I just had my recall done a month ago. You'd think GM would have made this a part of the recall.

Not complaining, just saying.

I lost my first key fob literally the first few months I had my car. Have only had the one fob forever and the rubber buttons have all fell out of it.

23345002 is $35.44 list price. Wow! Is that for one or for 10?

I think someone posted that price before and it was for a quantity of 10.

Why not get a key cut to fit into the FOB and use it like it was pre Recall?

That is what I have been meaning to do.

My car had the recall done to it before I could purchase it in 2014. I didn't get the chance to use the switch blade type so I don't have any issues with a regular key. Every other vehicle I have owned has had a regular key so what's the big fuss about? Lol.
I like the insert for the key fob though and I think it should have been put in when the blade was taken out.

Part number is valid. For those that want this, the kit is $7.50 + tax (cost me $8.08). Just make sure you show the parts guy the number. I got a deer in the headlights look, but they had them.

When I bought my car I just took the new key apart and put it back into the key fob. I don't sit on the steering wheel so there is no concern of me bombing it with my knee. Just an idea.
