On another note, after leaving mine out for 12 hours last night I had my fiance' time me with my state of the art first GEN iphone stopwatch. I improved from my previous 5.6 0-60 average to 5.1. I haven't found a good place to time my 1/4 mile but I will. Keep in mind I'm still "breaking" my baby in. Just hit 1,400 tonight so I hope that she will really start to break loose once I hit 2,000, have my CAI & exhaust installed with tune.

Thanks again for all the info you guys/gals have provided.

Okay so I ran the Fuel out lastnight completely... had to go get gas in gas can (91 octane) and put it in the camaro so I could get to the gas station. Put about 1/4 tank in... Pulled the Fuse lastnight and now its been 11hrs.

Went out and drove it down the road for 30 minutes (approx 20 miles) Same thing.... T/C off, Dead stop.. romp on gas and no spin at all. press and held the T/C button for 10 seconds.. tried again... no luck.
Only wheel spin or chirp is if I power brake it...

Temperature: 69 F
Humidity: 79%

IDEAS ??? Im clueless as to why this has had a negative effect on my car....
Should I run the 91 Octane out again and go put all 95 octane in ??

theoretically you would be bumping up to 93-94. but there's no guarantee that the fuel mixed perfectly in your tank and had a perfect mix delivered to the motor. who's to say that you didnt get an initial flow of 100 octane, then the 91 hit it and the computer freaked and dropped you down to the low octane table because of the difference in spark knock that was picked up.

What you're describing is what my car has done ever since I've had it up to the fuse pull. You'rs seems to have reversed. Maybe take it to the dealer and have them put it on the computer. Damn I hope you get this going. I know what it's like having a fast car that's not fast.

Have you checked to see that the fuses are still good? Sometimes a fuse will blow as it gets pulled.

This time it was from a Quick Trip Gas station..

I think i'm going to run this gas out fully... Pull fuses again, put 95 octane in and have a go at it and see. If it works.. then I'll just run 95 octane all the time.

Well I put the fuses back in yesterday and took the car out for quick drive, the car did seem a little "peppier" (if that is a word) but I didn't notice a huge difference from before the fuse pull. I only drove it to the car wash to vacum it out and then back home which is maybe 5 minutes from my house so total trip 10-12 minutes. Today I'm going to really drive it, I'm guessing I wasn't in it long enough yesterday to get the astonishing results everyone else is claiming to have gotten from the fuse pull. I will post todays results sometime this weekend.

Ok, I am here to report the results of my 5/20 fuse yank over night.

WOWSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before with my L99, no wheel spin with TC on....and good acceleration. Now, a good hard chirp off the line, and a mild chirp hitting second....and balls to the wall improvement right thru 110 mph, when I had to back off.

Then, I took the T/C off...and had MONDO rubber burns....LOL, that could get expensive.....but wow what a difference, particularly right at the launch. Much more responsive and authoritative shifts.....I am impressed.

Car has only 550 miles...so she is still breaking in obviously.

For ME, this was a grand slam, thanks guys!

Pulled fuses last night, left off about 4 hours. No performance difference. Maybe need to leave them off a bit longer.

you guys gotta remember, some of the cars are not being affected by the "slows" and this trick wont give you much of a gain (if any) if your car was already performing properly

So at some point you were affected by the 'low fuel table'

Glad to see you benefit. I know the feeling.

If you pull your fuses and aren't 'sure' you benefited, you didn't have a problem. Unless you never timed your car.

The 'but dyno' wasn't a super monster difference. Noticeable? Yes. But it's not like stepping into a ZR1 or anything. I noticed when I cranked it up. But I've been on a crazy 'sync' with my car for about 3 months.

The clock don't lie. So I would suggest at least time a few 0-60s before the fuse pull.
