while on vacation in AZ i ran out of Jack. My grandniece, who's 21, volunteered to go get some if someone lent her a car. At first I said take mine, and her and her boyfriend jumped up. Then i came to my senses and said, "no. you really can't handle that car".
my nephew brought me a bottle of Jack to the beach the next day.

The only other person I've let drive my car is my brother and he was too scared of wrecking it so he never once got it above 3k rpms. No one really asks if they can drive it since they assume I'll say no anyways.

Let them drive it, hell half of them I ask them to drive it. As long as I am in the car it doesn't bother me. I just love to share my car. Its such a unique thing to command so much power, it is intoxicating and I want everyone to experinece it. There are a few exceptions both ways. I know a few people I wouldnt let touch it and I know a few people I would let drive it unsupervised.
And this is with a twin turbo M6. Some of you guys are either way to worried about your car or dont trust your friends enough.

I would really like all my brothers and my dad to take the car for a spin, but they don't know how to drive a stick. My only rule would be that I have to be in the car with them. They love my car and it would just brighten their day if they got to drive it.

I wish my dad were still with us so he could drive the 1LE. I remember when I went to get one of our first hot rods ('70 Nova) out to drive it and I noticed it was missing one of the SS center caps on the SS wheels. I went back in the hose to ask what was up. My Dad was smirking and chuckling and my Mom seemed quite agitated. Come to find out, Dad had taken Mom for a very spirited drive, and thrown the center cap off the wheel. Mom was not so excited about the spirited drive! Great memories!
