Worst dealership. "CHEVYLAND"

So today I noticed that my fender was a little off. So I got to looking and noticed two dents and it not aligned correctly. Last week it was in the ship for a new bottom grille "someone backed into me" and I know it wasn't there before I took it in because I inspected the car VERY carefully. So I went up to chevyland and see what they did and what they could do because they are really friendly. Well I pull into the shop and show them the damage their machanic did to my car and instantly got shut down and walked away from. So then I go to the manager and speak to him and he says there's nothing they can do. I reminded them that I was planning on purchasing a brand new Tahoe and a brand new 4 door ss when I come back in town from a job. Still, they can't do anything. So they have lost a good valuable customer and I'm reporting them to the BBB. So if your in the shreveport bossier area. DO NOT go to chevyland.

Sorry. Just had to rant a little.

Yeah. They said it isn't there fault and that he didn't do anything with that fender. Witch is true with replacing a grille. But someone had to do something. Have they never heard the customer is always right ??

They damaged your car? Call the police and report them. Then call your insurance company. It will be handled.

Yeah that is way off. Maybe they jacked it up around that area and caused it to come out a bit? I know the 4th gens were notorious for this.

Problem is you signed for the work being completed and by doing so took the car as is. Likely you didn't inspect it before signing for it. Dealerships do this ALL the time. Here, sign this, now here's your keys. Only then do you get to see your car. Your car, you have a right to inspect before you sign it out into your responsibility.

Unfortunately, unless you can prove they did the damage, it's a he-said, she-said sort of situation since it has been a week.

Good luck anyway.

I had my trunk repainted several weeks back. I inspected my car before leaving it all looked fine. When I got home I found where they made a mistake. And mine was much more obvious than his.

Send the Chevy Cust Svc Rep on this forum a PM. They will open a case for you.

Because I wouldn't think they would touch anything else on the car. They've done plenty of work on my car including my rear bumper. Before I signed I inspected the grille closely, but not the whole car. I guess it's a learning experience.

I could understand that. Besides the fact I've bought two vehicles from them for one. And for two, I use to work as a lube tech there so I know everybody Pretty good. And I've seen how shitty they do their work. Half the time when I get stuff done I will go back there, grab a chair and watch the whole process. It was a new manager I talked to though. Or else they probably would have fixed it.
