Of course there wouldn't be any power gain it's just an air filter.

BZZZZZZZ WRONG... The stock Air Filter is definitely suffocating the LS3 and L99. Your Camaro will breathe better and you will see some gain. I have this in my Camaro to hold me over until I choose a FIPK/Cold Air Kit. After installing the filter I could tell the difference in both performance and sound. If you are not in the market for a FIPK/Cold Air Kit then this is worth the money.

Just get a K&N filter. How much difference can a piece of pipe the same size as the old one make anyhow?

I may go with the Hennessy CAI, but undecided if I want the stainless steal or not. Any one know if there is any problems with the MAF on the Hennessy?

Update on K&N CAI?

I searched for this topic and couldnt' find much. I can't believe how long it is taking K&N to produce this. Does anyone have any info on a release date?

no, but so far in my own experiences in the shop over the past few years, the K&N kits have ALWAYS had higher IATs than the more thought out intakes such as airaid, rotofab, etc etc. the flow was never an issue, as they are "father" of the oiled element filter... but usually its just a tiny heat shield that doesnt even seal to anything and a filter thrown on a chrome tube. they always look nice, and im not calling it a bad product... just not a top contender for good IATs
