Should this be covered under warranty?
The bleeder valves on my calipers were seized and when I tried to bleed the brakes they snapped clean off. I searched online and this seems like a common issue with Brembos (search "brembo broken bleeder"). Already went to a dealer and they said it was my fault since I didn't take it to them for bleeding.
Curious on how I should continue. |

Hard to see from the picture but unless there s a material flaw at the bleeder, it's on you for breaking it off. There are ways to unstick siezed parts.
Just like if you took it somewhere for service and the tech broke the bleeder, it would be on them, and it wouldn't be right for them to blame the part to try to not take responsibility. |

You can remove that broken bleeder using left hand twist drill bits. It's likely that the drill bit will cause the broken bleeder to back out during the drilling process. If not, then move along to easy-outs and as a last resort, heat.
I also recommend using kroil penetrating oil during the process. Good luck. |

Looks like paint on the bleeder screw threads. Was the caliper painted with the bleeder screw installed? Maybe the paint contributes to the problem of it being stuck and needing extra torque to remove.
May need to clear that out as first step? Ron |
