Yesterday there was rain showers in the area so I didn't go to the track, don't want to get caught in the rain with drag radials. Also gives me more time to figure out what timing the engine likes. 25.5 was slower than 24.5, so even though the engine wasn't detonating, there was no gain.
Next Friday the track is hosting another event, so no TnT. Next chance will be September 11th, don't know if I will go to that. Need to get out there though and see if I can set the record so I can take the supercharger off and attempt a 12 second run NA. Was a little bored so I also made this. |

Read from post 1 to here. Wow.. You sir, have one bad ass ride and have inspired me to build instead of buy lol
Edit: Just started looking into the IPF kit, it was discontinued. What else would you recommend for forced induction on a LLT? Last edited by GavinF; 08-31-2015 at 10:13 AM. Reason: Research |

Only thing left is TT if it ever works, but IPF might be able to build one off brackets and you can piece together the rest of the kit. |

Tomorrow night is turning out to be good for racing, so going to attempt for some records. Right now my ricer math says I should be 1.5 seconds faster, so 10.8 - 11.2 is what I should run. 2nd gear is 0.3 seconds faster, and 3rd gear is 0.7 seconds faster, so take half that for 4th gear to 0.3 seconds, and 0.2 seconds for 1st gear. Not going to work like that in reality, but I can claim victory in the bench racing top 10 list.
Also forgot to hook up my meth nozzles last night and did a full 3rd gear pull with no meth. The Safe Injection module with the solenoid works, it kept the boost from hitting over 11 PSI and my AFR was 0.98. Knock sensors went crazy and pulled 7.5 degrees of timing but the engine did not receive damage. If you have the 4 gauge pack and after a run your oil temps are reading high, you don't have enough timing in your tune. When it was running 17 degrees from the knock retard (after meth was hooked back up) the temps were higher than normal. Had to reload the tune to reset the knock sensors and the temps were back to normal, even when the ambient temps were 20 degrees higher. |

I think I might go out there tonight too. Can't pass up on a cool night like tonight. Looks like da will be 1500 at 11pm according to one website I looked on. Hopefully it's prepped well and we might both run our fastest times yet.

I won't be there that late, plan on getting there early and getting a few runs in. Usually after 9 it has been getting too busy. First few runs should tell me if I'm going to get close to my goals. I have a few more issues that I haven't fully tested out yet. Going there also with my subwoofer box still in, seems I run better with it.

11.917 @ 115.08
Still has more left, the HPFP couldn't keep up at 3rd gears and reduced pressure. |
