You don't have to lose it if you don't want to. Know also that acquiring a little more wisdom about when, where, and how hard doesn't mean that your interest is starting to slip. I'll be 68 in a couple of months . . . and I don't drive any milder than I did when I was 28. 18 was too far back to really remember much of any more.
