Front end not fitting right - help!
Not sure why...
I've taken my front end off probably 10 times or so now and for some reason this time it doesn't want to go back correctly near side markers.. Anyone have this issue before? Everything else lines up perfect and fits in. When I tighten the 7mm bolt down on the inside near side market this seems to PPP out (on both sides). Anyone have this issue before? Any help? TIA ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine does the same. For me, the hole the bolt goes through actually broke so it no longer was pulling it in flush. It's surprisingly flimsy.

This just happens to the bumper. I was told from the dealership that it is from the heat but the can kind of mold it back into place.

Yeah I took mine to the dealer for something a year ago that they had to take the bumper off for. When I got it back it was like that :(
They told me it was normal which is dumb, but I guess that's the way it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The small bolt with the 9/32 head holds everything in place. Are you sure you aligned it the bumper and tightened the bolt / screw down?

Isnt there clips that have to lock in with the bumper on the fender?

Yes it's a 7mm bolt there. I've taken it off numerous times and never had an issue. I even removed completely and started over. The hole where 7mm bolt goes up vertically right near side marker is broken, used electrical tape to fix and then bolt through. Pictures looks worse than it is because I have some black out acrylic pieces over side markers from RPI.
Next time I take it off I guess I'll mess with it again. Everything else fits perfect from torx screws on fender liners, to 10mm bolts up top on radiator shroud to the posts that go from bumper back into body. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Front Bumper Removal Help: So I've taken my front fascia off probably 10-15 times now. Each time no real problem. As I've added halos, etc there are a few extra things to unclip. However, this last time I removed to install grill lighting, and when I went to put it back on, it slid in correct with the horizontal posts up top, closed the gaps up as they should. All 10mm bolts on the top part go in smoothly, plastic clips go in smoothly up top, and then comes the wheel well..
I get the top (hardes to reach, half blind) 10mm bolts on each side, as well as the lowest (easiest to see and reach) and they go in fine. However, on BOTH sides, the middle hole to get the 10 mm bolt in won't "catch" like the bolt isn't long enough to start hitting the threads to catch and screw down, on BOTH sides. Anyone else have this problem? In addition, (I'm at a friends house, and it past time to go, so I leave those two out), the 7mm bolt that goes up vertically from the side marker goes in fine, but the tabs that are there are broken. I didn't see any issue, but I noticed they can almost pop out from the tab being broken, so I electrical tape the tab back to create the "hole" to keep bolt in place. Seems to work. I do this on both sides, and now the side markers are almost pushed in on the body, creating a little bit of a gap. Are these related? What is going on? I've never had an issue taking this thing on and off over the years, but now seems to have a gremlin in it. Again, there are no gaps from fenders to front fasica, or nothing to make me think it isn't fit in all the way, it's like the bolts shrunk, lol. Any help is appreciated! And don't all jump at once to help me figure it out. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
