All season tires for the ZL1

Spoke with a Tire Rack rep regarding a good all season tire for the ZL1 in stock sizes.
He said the only tire available in stock sizes is the Goodrich G Force Comp 2 A/S.

Is there any feedback on this tire or is it new to the market?

Thanks.

I drive an SS with bolt ons, in North Dakota. All Season tires, really do not do much. For two winters, I used my Pirelli Ice Scorpions (same size as factory), and for the third winter, I stayed on my factory street tires with no problem. North Dakota is always icy. Hopefully this information helps you.

I have been curious about these tires also since they are relatively new to the market. I am curious if they can handle the power to the ground.

I run Contintental DWS ExtremeContact All Season Performace tires. They hook up well in the cold and rain, and are slightly sticky on hot days still. I like them. 315 rear 275 up front

I run the same tire only I have the stock 285 up front, 315 out back. These tires hook great, way better then the stockers. Are great in the rain and are ten times more quiet then the GY .
They have to be the best all around tire, I have no question .

I have the same set up and think these Continentals are great.

Id suggest the Contis from previous experience.

But my 1le(same wheels as ZL1) came pre swapped with all season performance Dunlops. They are OK grippy in the summer. But are supposed to(I tend not to drive when it snows) be good in the winter.

I have the same setup and, with my experience in snow in Detroit driving a heavy RWD car, the DWS can handle nominal amounts of snow. Ice, I don't know. But snow up to four-to-five inches, I handled with no problem. And they're quiet and semi-grippy for an all-season.

If you have big-time winter weather, get some narrower wheels and dedicated snows.

I'm going to give the BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 A/S a try. I ran Blizzaks on my CTS-V and they worked great but were very costly so I figured I would give these a try for the colder months. If they suck too bad in snow I'll just stay home from work.

Size: 73.6 KBI have had these tires on the front of my ZL1 since August, Goodrich G Force Comp 2 , I like the look and feel sound seems less noisy to me also, the back tires our still stock,

+1 again, I would just say make sure you don't run more than 34 psi in the tires or the tires will bounce you off the road on fast accelerations due to the twin steel belts. great tire.

I run dedicated winters: Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice in 215-60-16. They work great.

Do the 315's fit without problems on the rear?
