I Give Up. Borla exhaust too tight!

You have got to be kidding me...

The piping for the borla exhaust is way toooooo tight. All of them not just one that might be a little out of round.

This system was on my friends car.... so I know it works...

So the expanded ends are not expanded enough....

I have even tried to give both inner and outer light sanding....
Some WD40.... etc...

There does not seem to be any obvious damage to the system...

Ideas?

Usually need a pipe expanded. They are $15 at harbor freight.

Rent a tail pipe expander from a auto parts store as others mentioned unless you have access to a torch.

Can confirm pipe expanders work. Used them on my exhaust to make some parts of my 3 inch exhaust that weren't 3 inches - 3 inches so I could have a full 3" exhaust from collector back.
