Is this why the cornering numbers for the RS (20" tire) LT are lower than the SS? Or is it tire differences. The SS indicates that it is a slightly different tire. Will adding a couple of the missing components improve the cornering ability of the LT RS? Edit: im truly impressed and thrilled with the reported numbers! I have been saying that I think that the V6 will be plenty of car for me. My 95' Z28's were fast enough to get me in trouble and the V6 beats out the numbers from that era's LT1! Can't wait to have this car in my driveway! |

Yah I'm torn between the V6/V8. First pony/muscle car. Some say you have to go V8 but man the value of the V6 and power is absurd. I'd never track the V8. |

That said the turbo 4 camaros are going to be downright nasty with a tune, some mods, and a LSD! I am surprised at how close the performance numbers are already between the 4/6. |

If you have been on M6G, you'll see about 15+ EcoBoost owners have already traded in their EB for a GT (they prob would have gone V6 if it was the mid engine). The turbo IMO is really for the person who just wants the Camaro for looks and great MPG/DD. (then again, with the AFM in the auto V6, you get even great MPG). |

I think 12s will be just out of reach for the bone stock v6 hero time if GM is rating it at 13.5. .6 tenths of a second is a ton to shave off. For example the 5th gen SS is rated at 12.9 from GM and the hero time is 12.58.
Damn impressive... Just barely behind a 6 speed ls1. Which is spot on looking at power to weight etc. I really want to drive both the v6 and 4 banger for the fun of it. The 6 compares nicely to the ls1 stock for stock and the t4 compares nicely to the original lt1 4th gen. It's absurd lol The 6 and 4 will probably sell great once people drive them. They really perform well |

Is anyone else a little surprised by the brake stopping numbers? Im assuming they are just being really conservative.
