Grrr... damned appliances

Had my brother and his wife over today to watch NFL Sunday Ticket. Right after kickoff, I said "I'm hungry" and threw a couple of pizzas in the oven. Wasn't really paying attention to the oven, but watching the game. Timer beeps 20 mins later, go to check the pies, and they are only sorta warm. Damned oven isn't working right.

Brand new Samsung convection oven, 14 months old, and the oven is not heating up now. If you set it for 400, it gets to maybe 315 after 40 minutes of heating. Got a service call for tomorrow. Guess I had better uninstall the cold air intake before the service guy gets here?

Food looks great Jan.

Good luck with the appliance repairs Cameron.

Gargling is taking the edge off the pain, but the infection is getting worse. They did say it may get worse before it gets better.

Almost finished painting the other upstairs bathroom. All that is left is the trim.

Feel better soon Rick.

Up early this morning to go to one of the schools to hang out & try to catch some of the parents of kids I see coming into Parent-Teacher conferences. Tomorrow is my last trip to the Nashville office. HAGD all.

It was a weird, boring day. I hung out at one of my schools on Parent-teacher conference day hoping to catch some of hte parents of my clients without any success. I had like a little both with information folks could inquire about services & I only had one come over. I actually could jot help her due to the kind off insurance they have but gave her my number to call so I can help connect her with the services she is looking for when I can get to the office & find the info. I was able to talk with some of the teachers & guidance staff & consult with them about some cases they will be referring. That was good.

Tomorrow is my last commute to Nashville. I plan to try to get my caseload cleaned up & all the Nashville cases off of it. Gradually the new job is starting to come together.

I had to save the life of a humming bird today. They had the front door propped open at the school today. Suddenly the humming bird flew in & rounded the corner to the teacher's work area. He was repeatedly running into the window above a door that did not open. I found a large storage box with a top, put it over him & gradually slipped the top on trapping him in the box & took him outside. I was glad it worked.

Huh?!

Had to go to the dentist today. I warned them of what was lurking in my throat.

The pain is not as sharp, but I guess it is getting better. Thanks for the well-wishes everyone.

Speaking of hearing.... I'm sure most of you have seen this. It will make a grown man cry.
