Oil Pressure/temperature Guage Readings + Steering Wheel
Hello everyone, today i bought the car of my dreams a 2013 V8 2SS black camaro. I love it and can't seem to stop looking at it from my room window. Problem is i'm a person that thinks and worries too much and most of the time i assume wrong stuff.
My questions would be: What are the normal readings the guages should read for oil temp, oil pressure, battery and engine temperature. I seemed to find that the oil pressure would change as i accelerate/decelerate. Is this normal? it keeps changing between 170 and 230 kPs. My engine oil temp is about 105 and my battery is almost 13V. Engine temperature is almost 100. Is this all normal readings? and is it ok for the guage pressure to change as i speed up or slow down? Second thing would be that i drove a camaro v6 before of model 2011. The steering wheel was heavier than the steering wheel of my current V8. Is it normal? I feel my v8 has a light steering wheel. Again, i may sound silly but im a person that worries ALOT. Thank you for your help! |

The readings are normal and oil pressure will rise with acceleration as you go through the rpm's of the engine. As far as the steering goes it's because you now have electric steering instead of hydraulic steering if you press the traction control button twice it will go into competitive driving mode which will make the steering feel heavier.
