ZL1 M6 looking at DR set up

I've been looking around here for some time now on DR set ups the two most I've see is people running DR's on factory 20'' repos or 17'' welds with slicks.

The questions that I have is. What are the down sides and or up sides (stock drivetrain)?

I'm leaning to 17'' welds with slicks but toying with the fact on getting my car to the track might be an issue unless I bolt them up at the track.

Just curious what everyone is running before I open my checkbook any insight would be much appreciated.

I run 17" welds with 325/45 DRs and it hooks great at the track, 1.36 60'. I drive to the track, 45 min away, with this setup although I change back to my Mich PSS for normal street driving.

WOW! 1.36 60' is what we did with our Old 68 S/S Hemi Cuda. We ran 9.60's 135. How fast is your ZL1?

It has run a best of 9.828 @ 138.76 with a crappy 60' of 1.411. The trans was hurt at that time so I'm hoping to run better this fall when Bradenton Motorsports Park reopens.

Are you still running the stock rear camber specs?

How do you adjust the rear? Do you have to buy aftermarket parts or can it be done with stock parts?
