Exclamation Rattling Clutch Issue Help

Does anyone have a problem with the clutch rattling or chattering when taking off from a stop. Also when idling with the clutch engaged you can hear a grinding/whining noise but when you press clutch in it goes away, its not loud loud but you can hear it, just wanna see if anyone knows what it could be ? It's a 2014 1LE with 15,100 miles

EDIT:

Here is a video of the noise

I don't have any rattle when moving through the gears but I do have the noise at idle in neutral with the clutch engaged. As soon as the pedal is pressed it fades out, most definitely sounds like an input shaft bearing. Took it to the dealership twice and they told me nothing is wrong. The second time they said they replaced some bearings but I don't think they did anything to it. They didn't even give me any warranty paperwork when I picked it up so pretty sure they just let it sit for a week and told me they worked on it to make me feel better. Between the trans noise and the horrible brake squeaking when cruising along (which momentarily goes away when you press the brake pedal but then comes back) I am driving around in a $45K car that sounds broken as crap. Thanks GM...will just drive the crap out of it until it breaks and I am stranded on the side of the road...

Dealer did the same with me regarding my throw out bearing. Had it for two days calls me back in and shows me a tech bulletin about normal clutch noises. I said ok but was thinking your full of sh!t. So I started it up and it starts squealing like hell. At this point the techs looking at me like he's just been busted, cause he was. Then try's pointing out that it's probably a pulley on the engine and wants to keep it longer... Told them their lazy idiots and that they had their chance and blew it and wont ever be going back to them. Ended up just fixing it myself, mainly because I wanted better parts in it than what GM would put back in. That and I hate people touching and working on my car. Wonder why I feel that way? Lol

Heres a video of the noise I am getting. Listen closely when the noise goes away is when the clutch is being pushed in. Is this the noise that ya'll are getting and/or should I be concerned?

It took me a minute to realize from your video what noise you meant.

I did hear it finally, an it's all good. I have the same thing too. I think it is throw out bearing noise but, whatever it is, it is a "normal operating characteristic." I'm guessing it is worse when the car is warmed up or hot, and you can really only hear it much if the windows are up and the music is off? Others have mentioned it on this forum, too.

Rest easy. We don't have to like it, but I think this noise is common. My tranny has always been noisy on several fronts, including that noise that is bothering you, but never a grind so I won't complain

Same noises here, we have a good relationship with a local GM dealership via work (Military) and I brought it in for them to take a look. 2 of the senoir techs checked it out and called GM HQ to confirm. Since then I really haven't heard it much, mostly because I accepted that it is just normal for that tranny/clutch.

The clutch noise/rattling at idle with clutch engaged is unfortunately a normal characteristic of the Tremec manual transmissions. It has been this way for a long time. I had a 91'vette and it did it, 2002 Z06 vette it did it and now over 20 years later my 2013 Camaro SS 1LE and it does it. When you push in the clutch it will quiet up but when engaged at idle it just rattles away. Consider it one of the charms of owning a high performance muscle car. I may go with the 8 speed for my next one. It may just be sporty enough to enjoy and auto transmission.

That is identical to my noise...sounds like a lot of people are being told that this is normal for the tranny so i guess i will live with it, just wish my dealership would have said that instead of basically telling me I am crazy and it isn't making any noise.

Still need them to fix the brakes though...the noise is crazy. Contacted GM customer care on 9/27, they said someone would contact me in one business day. Still no contact. So at least I've got that going for me...
