Question about Heritage Grill
I'm about to buy a heritage grill, but had a question first. I want to use my current chevy bowtie (since I had it custom painted) and SS emblem on the heritage grill.
With that being said, would I need to buy a heritage grill that comes with a bowtie already and just swap it out for my custom painted bowtie? Or could I just buy the grill without the bowtie and still put my own on it? Would I need some additional parts for that (i.e. clips, brackets)? How exactly would I install my own bowtie and SS badge on it? Last edited by Bennieficial; 10-04-2015 at 02:09 PM. |

The Bowtie from the stock Grill won't fit the Heritage Grill. You would have to order one that comes with the matching Bowtie already installed.
For the SS emblem I think you must fabricate a mounting plate to fit the Heritage Grill. |

To reuse the custom bowtie you could get the landing pad and that will allow you to keep the painted bowtie you have. The SS emblem will have to be modified to fit on the grill. What I have done in the past is double side tape the SS emblem to the new grill. Hope this helps you!! Thank you, Ricardo |
