LS3 plug wires.. what would you choose?
So when I installed my headers one of the OEM spark plug wires had a broken terminal clip (found when removed) on the coil side of the wire which I am sure will never cause a problem but I would rather replace the set anyway. They are 5 years old so maybe its time anyway.
So knowing most recommend OEM and with headers should I stick with OEM? I am seeing options in 9" (red hi temp) and 9 1/2" black (what mine has).. Has anyone tried the 9" to see if they fit? I like the color and they look the same but I'm concerned they may be a tiny bit too short? http://www.ebay.com/itm/221849748377...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Here are the 9 1/2" same as OEM # on the wire and all http://www.ebay.com/itm/321829174015...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Then there is a set on Amazon that says fits my car as ACDelco 9748UU Professional Spark Plug Wire Set http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER And then there is this set on Amazon and I'm not sure what the major difference is? The part # diff from the above is missing a "9" http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-748UU-...keywords=748UU Or would you go aftermarket all together and forget OEM? Not looking to spend a great deal of $ especially thinking the OEM are fine but willing to spend a little more if there are good reasons to do so.. Thanks in advance..

Get the MSD units for a 6.0 truck.. they are longer because of the placement of the truck coils, a nice upgrade.

When I added my LT Headers I went with Taylor Pro Race 10.4mm wires. Bought them on Amazon for $70.

only OEM have the proper resistance for our ignition systems. Others will work but not as well.

Taylor's 10.4 on mine . If you run OEM with headers get the wire socks or you will burn the wires.

When do you burn the wires? Iv only put 10,000 miles on mine with 1 7/8" headers and there like new. No racing though.

Hmm.. close running for OEM VS Taylor.. if I'm going to spend a few $ if Taylor is the way to go then maybe I'll take a closer look at em.
Thanks again guys!
