How about flame stripes your color of paint shows through that are glossy and appear as the paint and can be waxed? American Car Craft.....

Available also though Phastek, though it took a month or two and had to bug them....

I don't know, it could be the angle I took the picture. It looks fine in person.

Those are really cool, but I am not a big fan of the rally stripes, that's why I took them off in the first place.

Hey I was thinking about taking My stripes off My 2011 IOM. Were you worried about the paint being faded underneath??

I'd leave them off and when you want change pick out something subtle.. less is more with a car like this. they just look bad a$$ sitting there stripeless.. They don't need anything to make them perty.. Naturally born beautiful in all colors.

It would likely be the other way around, the stripes are protecting the paint under them from the sun.

There really isn't much of a fade, you only notice it when you look for it and even then it's really hard to see. I did take some pictures right after I removed the stripes and what you see in the rear trunk lid is adhesive and a little bit of dust more than anything. I will take closeup pictures of the hood and deck lid on Thursday when I am off to show you how it looks after I detailed it.

I was worried so I just pulled off small section just to see how bad of the fade it would be, but it really wasn't bad so I decided to pull it off and you really can't tell there was ever stripes.

I vote no stripes. I would probably be driving a Challenger if I could have found one without all those stupid stripes. To me it looks juvenile and riceboy.
