2014-15 Hood Heat Extractor Removal
Has anyone taken the heat extractor off? I want to paint my extractor a different color. How do I remove the push pins on the rain diverter? After I remove the nuts that hold the extractor to the hood, is there adhesive that holds the extractor to the hood? Any tips would be appreciated.

SS or ZL1? On the ZL1 there are 6-8 bolts. Once removed, I used a trim tool to separate from hood. No adhesive. Just pins that hold them in place that you can push out. If it's an SS. No clue but shouldn't be any adhesive

For the pins use a screwdriver and pop the middle section out then the pin will pull out, super easy. take off the nuts holding the hex vent on and it comes right off.
