Almost every new place I stop at brings on comments. I've I had 2400+ kids through adults in the car for pictures. Enjoy the kids coming up to me to tell me where there picture was taken or the father in a store holding his phone up showing his screensaver of his kid in my car.
I just need to stay away from Edina MN.

I got the "sounds like a cam," last night while waiting in the drive through.

I've had people get out of there cars in a drive through just to ask about the car and complement how good it sounds.

Last night my Son ask did you see a 97 white Z28 today? I said yes, I had to get on it to get a closer look and wave at the guy......He said that's my friend and he wants to come over tonight and check out your car I said ok if I can check out his Z!

Then he added all my friends keep asking if your Camaro is cammed......

I've gotten a couple of thumbs up here and there but the vast majority of it has been negative - usually complaining about how loud it is, or how cars like mine shouldn't be on the road, etc., etc.

Always positive comments, like you have all said kids love this car. It's bumble bee no mater the color.

I was in line for a ferry in Washington and I have the Hurst shifter and a new age hippie dude said to his buddy "I like the cue ball shifter"

I get mostly positive compliments. Most are about my plate: 5TOLEN.

I get good comments... the majority of them are from baby boomers who say "nice car," and about two-thirds of them go on to tell me about a first-gen Camaro they owned when they were younger. The four-pack gauges really get a good reaction, too. It's a strong testament to how well GM did incorporating the Camaro heritage into the 5th-gen design. It really makes me wish that my old man was still around, as he would have really enjoyed the car.

I get good reactions from kids, too, but mostly in the vein of "hey, it's a Transformer," without much sense of the heritage. That's cool, though, because at least for a few of them, that could be the hook that gets them into modern muscle.

I get good comments & thumbs up all the time. Just yesterday, I had just pulled into the garage & was getting out as a couple I had just passed walked by; the young lady yelled out 'man that's a nice ride' ... smiled & said thanks

This is what I get a bunch of, had an older lady tell me her dad wouldn't let her have a Gen1 because he said it would kill her, so that was the first thing she did when she moved out was buy one. Spent about an hour talking with an older dude driving a newer GTO in Roanoke about the Camaro, these cars are instant classics, no matter how many are on the road.

Best one yet for me was "Look dad, that's a Z/28!"

I wish!

This shit instantly angers me. If I am not shitting on their choice to buy a Prius then they should shut their faces about my choice in car. Most are just upset because their balls are in their wife's purse and their realization of that mixed with their defeated demeanor makes them lash out and say stupid shit.

I got hate from Prius (Pious) owners and other rollerskate drivers regardless of whether I was in the RX-8, WRX or Camaro. Doesn't matter, if you own your balls people get pissed (male and female) because they lost their own.

We have Camaro's at almost every stop light out here - they're pretty common. I usually get lots of comments though when in one of the Vette's, and recently I got a, "Wow, nice car!" when I parked in the BMW.
