Stock Dyno Numbers?

Hello all, I was wondering what sort of RWHP stock SS's are putting out. Does it vary significantly from car to car?
Also, what sort of wait times are we looking at as far as ordering a new SS. Is there significant dealer markup?
Thanks for the help!

The HP ranges from 350 to 380 for the M6. The wait time really depends on several issues. Find a dealer with allocations and you can plan on 6 to 10 weeks.
P.S. Welcome to the site!!!!

Thanks! Those are some impressive numbers.
I'll be hitting some dealerships later this week or early next week.
Love the rally yellow BTW!

We were actually at a dyno day yesterday, a stock auto ran 316 at the rear wheel, a stock manual ran 352. Mine has a CAI and a max energy programmer and it ran 377. These were all SS.

Wow, that's a bigger difference between auto and manual than I would have expected. I'm looking at manual anyway but that's good to know. Thanks.

Well I'm a dufus too, it is my car but my husband does all the stuff to it, however here is a website that sells them, tells what it is/does http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...d-Applications
I know that not only did it help gain power but it helped the fuel mileage....before we put it on we were getting on average 20-21 mpg highway driving. Yesterday was the first trip we took out that we paid attention to it and we were getting 24.6 mpg doing 75.

It makes sense to me, they start 26 hp down and automatics are less efficient than manuals so there's a few more hp lost.

Except that nobody does that, to the best of my knolwedge. What GM did do is change the gearing to help make up for the difference. The L99 makes less power because of AFM, and if it weren't for AFM then it would likely get slapped with a gas guzzler tax.
