Believe it or not, peanut butter does a great job. Just look it up. I've used it before.

Turtle Wax Ice applied with a sponge and removed with a microfiber towel will be all you ever need.

Try it and then tell me I'm wrong.

Used turtle wax ice on the edge of hood this weekend with no results. Covers up initially but comes right back.

I agree it works great, but a band-aid solution nonetheless.

Indeed, but some products like scratch removers, will leave an almost permanent white streak on say....your black plasti-dipped rear spoiler or plastidipped rear tail light bezels.

I still recommend the pink erasers that are NOT on a pencil for their wedge shape and lack of a metal band holding them on the stick. There is no stick. They are made from the same substance and will do a much better and safer job and last longer. Throw a couple in your tool box or car-care duffle and have at it.

Pencil eraser or vegetable oil have worked for me. I think that's why peanut butter works. It's because of the oil(fat) in it.
