I would just do the tune and not worry about it, the chances of a tune screwing up your car is very low unless the tuner is a complete idiot. Most are very conservative in their tunes.

This is why you shouldn't. This can cause a lot of trouble because it contains the mileage. I had thought about doing this at one point but if anything happened it would be a clear red flag something wasn't right. Not worth getting a warranty block or worse like some legal trouble over.

Agreed - after listening to the shop explain how they could "commit fraud" I said I'll let you know and left. No way I would let them touch my car..............even if they could pull it off without anyone knowing it is just not the right thing to do.

Fair enough. I have decided to just go ahead and have my car tuned as it is-just didnt know if that was a possibility or if it was even safe to do so

Bring on the HP Tuners!

i tuned my car, installed intake, 3.91 gears, and had my car serviced by the dealer with no problem, they even serviced my diff, changed the royal purple diff oil I had put in the diff because of maintenance xD I had a bad throw out bearing and they replaced the complete clutch after trying to tell to my face my clutch was worn out and bill me for it, and it was not.
