I got 3 time slips today. It was 82 degrees at 6000ft so that prob hurt my times a little lol. Also, I had traction control and stability on... I'm still getting used to the added power in the car but next time I'll take traction control off to see how much I improve. I took down a ZL1 in a race but his actual 1/4 mile time was .028 faster... Funny part is that was my worst run of the day. In comparison, my coworkers C6 GS ran a 13.8 so it may just be the effects of elevation.

Thanks man. If you use the NHRA correction for Bandimere Speedway of 0.9405 on my run of 13.179, it would be a 12.238. Not entirely sure how accurate that is though.

High Plains Raceway is having an open track day this Sunday. If I can swap my brake pads out before then, I'm going to attend. It's a road course so it'll be interesting to see the turbos out there.

Didn't get a chance to change out the brake pads before the event so I didn't end up going. I took the camaro out for one last ride this past Sunday and sadly put it away for the winter... looks like it's supposed to snow tomorrow morning in Colorado. I probably won't be updating this thread until the spring but the plan is methanol injection, stall converter, and change out the break pads when it gets warmer.

That's sad, mines put up for the winter too... Just not by choice. Next year should be interesting for sure.

Took the car out this past Friday to cruise around and man does this thing pull! I forgot how much power this car has haha. I did notice that it was somewhat difficult to turn the steering wheel and I thought it was due to the fact that it had been sitting in the garage all winter. I checked the power steering fluid level and it appears to be low. The power steering fluid dipstick didn't show any fluid on it at all. I checked it with a longer dip stick to see if there was any fluid in the reservoir and found some fluid in there but a very low amount. I checked the fluid when the car was cold. Do I need to check it while hot? Do I need to turn the wheels while measuring the fluid level? Maybe I have a leak somewhere?

Over the years, I've tried most every oil scavenge pump on the market and found that the Turbowerx is the best and for sure, the quietest. I have one on my Twin Turbo Camaro LLT and you can barely, barely hear it with the ignition on, engine off. When you start the engine you can't hear it at all. The reliability of these pumps are the best. No failure in 4 years, 36,000 miles.
