I have these going on my MRR 228 wheels. Same as have been said above, received my 285's and have been told 305's are being shipped 10/09/15.

I called BFG this morning and they did confirm that the g-Force COMP-2 A/S are currently in production and will be through at least 10/11. (She said they could only see production out for four weeks). I called Tirereack and explained what I had been told by BFG and asked to change my order back to 285 x 2, 305 x 2. When I asked how long it typically takes for tires from BFG to actually get through their distribution system and to Tirerack she had me to hold while she asked her purchasing folks.

When she returned she asked for the person's name at BFG who had told me they were in production as the the purchasing folks had been in contact with BFG on Monday when they were told there was no delivery date on them. They are going to contact BFG to see if they can get a straight answer on this.

I'm thinking this is not about g-Force COMP-2 A/s production per se but rather specifically about 305's as this will be a first run for them in this tire model. It's sounding to me like they may be having some kind of issue getting them built. I'll post when I hear back from Tirerack.

Update:

Tirerack just called and they have confirmed the 305's are delayed. They used some technical jargon that I didn't understand to describe the problem but said they hope to have them in production by late November.

I was going to just wait a couple of weeks to see if that date firmed up but I think I'm going to go ahead and get 285 x 4 for now. They are having a $70 rebate promotion right now if I get them shipped from stock before 9/27/2015. I would miss out on that *and* run the risk of the availability of the 305's slipping further out (or possibly never). The whole purpose to get another set of tires was to stop wearing out the expensive Hankook R-S3's daily driving and save them for autocross. hrm...

Never a dull moment with tires

285's mounted and balanced ready to try out! Unfortunately I'm autocrossing Saturday and Sunday, camping next week, then autocrossing again the following weekend. Gonna be *forever* until I get to try them out

Any updates? I'm hoping they'll be ready by the time my GY's are done (about 3 months). I'm thinking of using these since they're warranteed to 45k miles. I've heard the GY's are only good for about 10k at most. I drive 86 miles each way daily (4-5x per week), so 10k is only about about 3 months. If I can get about 30k miles out of them, I'll be happy. I understand that I'll sacrifice "some" handling quality, but I don't want to be working overtime to afford tires lol.

I've had them on for about a week now. I really like them so far. I have yet to try driving them hard though. I have an autocross event tomorrow and rain is forcast so I may keep them on to see how they do.

Cool, thanks! Now I just have to hope the 305's are ready by then. I priced them out at my local discount store for 176 front and 182 rear.

Has anyone tried a 315 on the rear of a stock SS 20" rim?

Weird. Goodrich's own site says they don't have these for my vehicle...perhaps they didn't update their own website...?

Currently they only have 285's in production. They are working on 305's but last time I checked they were having some kind of production problem and were projecting end of November.

The reason they are not listed specifically for the ZL1 is due to the speed rating being W, which is rated lower than the Y rating on our tires.

The rear tires are off back order. I spoke to Goodrich today on the phone.
