750-800whp . Feed it with plenty of octane (anything 100+, e85, e98) and have a solid tune and you would be fine

We air on the side of caution and say 700 RWHP, others agree.

We can make more but at significantly higher risk.

What do you feel is the weakest link as you climb above 750? Pistons, bearings, rods?

Thank you all for the feed back ... I am only looking for 620 to 650 at the wheels on pump gas ... That will put me at a little over 700 at the crank
That's all I need

It falls in line with my motto: "Too much horsepower is almost enough!"

Hp is a addiction really, we all here paid at least 55k + for our ZL1's and even 580 wasnt enough lol.

I love my ZL1 but it doesn't feel as fast as 580 should feel if that makes sense. Cant wait till the end of the year and I start my really modding my car.

I cant even imagine how much more fun it must be driving with 600+ hp at the wheels.

Block, crank, rods pistons are just not built for this power level at any significant usage.

It is one thing to make the power on the dyno then go to car shows and talk about it, and totally different to make this power and race it regularly.

I like to stick to power levels you can actually use.

Ted.
