To seafoam or not seafoam thats the question
I have 94k mi on my car. Ls3 cammed intake headers ptb. Idk why it seems my car isn't what it was after my cam swap. Should I try the seafoam to see if that helps? Or leave it alone? I've always used 93 octane from shell or Chevron.

I don't know, I've never been a big fan of the "mechanic in a can" stuff.

Well I drive my car normal except when I get the urge to feel the power which is everyday. Lol I have about 8kmi on the cam with upgraded springs and all. I am thinking about changing out the diff oil its been a year now since I've had my 3.91's installed with the true trac. But I guess I'll go with some regular oil because of my true trac.

There are machines which can clean out all the gunk at various mechanics if you can find one its the best you can get with multiple chemicals cleaning the engines internals. You may want to check connections, clean MAF, clean air filter do what you can... If you want to clean some out the seafoam is popular.

Yea maybe im probably used to it. Well the plugs were changed to ngk when the cam was swapped so I don't think that would be it. Wouldn't hurt to check though. I did pour in a Lucas fi cleaner so we'll see how that goes. I just changed my oil so I'll wait until its getting closer to the oil change to try out the seafoam

At 94k I am sure the manifold and valves could use a good manual cleaning. Carbon build up will degrade performance.

My only problem with seafoam is "if" it cleans off the carbon then where does it end up? My guess is clogging up the cats.

Using something regularly never hurts. I generally add Lucas to the gas at regular intervals on all my cars.
Why not try the Seaform? It is only $6 a can and it's not going to hurt anything.

I wouldn't be able to go into the engine now. So I guess the sea foam wouldn't hurt. From the instructions I seen that it's a 1/3 gas tank 1/3 in to the throttle body and a 1/3 in the engine oil.
