Trick -- Very neat pictures -- 1969 camaro pace car is also a neat gem. Almost more Superbirds and Daytonas than originally built (jest). Were the Richard Petty and Bobby Isaac cars the real race cars or just paint jobs. The Stealth is also very neat. Saw it at Dayton years ago.

John - They appeared to be race cars as their were no door handles and the tail lights were covered with aluminum plates. No mufflers either - Those big block Hemi's really sounded good!

Officially jealous! I had considered Homestead, but my driver is out after this round of elimination, so Joey Logano better watch out..............

I agree - Logano has a target on his back! I'm going to Phoenix and Homestead!

I had 2 lots on Lake Lloyd for the Daytona 500 this year. I rented the Prevost. Going to do the same next year!

Cool pics. Looks like fun.

Another busy day. Rained all day too. Still drizzly out & cold.

My sister talked to the Hospice folks at the nursing home & liked what they had to say. He will still get everything (services) he gets now plus more services to help ensure his comfort. She is going to go sign off on it tomorrow.

now I'm totally jealous! Only got to Atlanta this year. It's been a difficult year for me. Homestead has got to be one of my favorite races. Even though I have a Chevy I'm a long time Matt Kenseth fan. I did get to take my car on track at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a fundraiser a couple of weeks ago. That was a blast!

Sorry to hear that you've had a difficult year - Cool pic from AMS. If you have the time think about coming down for the Daytona Turkey Run - Thousands of cars! You can register your Camaro for $45 that gives you drive in access to the infield for all 4 days plus 4 walk-in tix to give to friends. It starts Thanksgiving Day and ends Sunday. I usually go down Friday & Saturday.

Great pics Diane and Trickskier!

Another cold & rainy morning. I did not sleep well. There was a rock slide near where you turn to go to our local drag strip that landed on some cars but it sounds like no injuries. Sun is not up yet so news pics are not very clear of it yet. Now they say 8 cars damaged. HAGD all.

Thanks for posting up those pics Diane and Trickskier. I noticed 95% of those cars had aftermarket wheels on them. I'm toying with doing the same to my Chevelle, and have narrowed it down to four possibilities.

Cloudy here today with rain in the forecast tomorrow and Friday. I will most likely drive over to Westgate for the Hot Rod Cruise tonight.

We had our Finding New Roads Tour tonight We got Cheeseburgers for dinner. Was a good turnout. Weather was awful most of the outside cars weren't given much attention. I guess my overview hasn't changed I'll wait for the 2017
