2015 Mylink w/ Navigation question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The main difference in the 2015 version of Camaro Mylink vs. the 2013 version, at least that I have noticed, is the radio screen does not automatically switch to the navigation map when turn directions are forthcoming. Has anyone else noticed this? Or is this a glitch with my 2015? The Mylink actually works better in my 2015 vs. the 2013, except for this one feature. I have had none of the numerous issues from the 2013. I was concerned about this but am very pleased. The one issue I mentioned, I actually would prefer for the screen to switch automatically but can live with it if that is the way the software for the 2015 was programmed. As an aside, there has never been an update to the 2013 navigation maps offered. However it is obvious that the 2015 navigation system is an updated version of the 2013.

What issues did you have on the 13' version?

Issues with 2013 Mylink: (1) Fan switch freezes at times (2) Radio freezes at times (3) Radio info not being sent to HUD at times (4) Radio not staying on same source after turning off then turning back on ignition (5) No guidelines in rear view screen. Off the top of my head, that's all I can think of. But on the plus side, it did switch from the radio screen to the navigation screen for all turns. I liked that feature.

(5) isn't an issue as the 13 doesn't have them.

But I get what you are saying.

All of a sudden the navigation is working perfectly. The screen is switching properly from radio to map and back again following turns. So please disregard the premise of this thread.
