Road and Track Article - Camaro Absent -Why?
No mention of a Camaro in this article celebrating the Big 3's resurgence into building world class muscle cars. What up with that?

Nothing new in the Camaro for this year, Road and Track only uses new models.

I don't know, an 'honorable mention' maybe about the 6th Gen hitting the streets in 2015? (hopefully!)

I disagree, they are looking at 2016, and I'm pretty sure the Camaro has changed for 2016.

Good catch. This is heresy I tell ya! I don't know sales numbers for Corvette v Camaro but just based on price alone, I think I'd bet the Camaro outsells Corvette. Corvettes are awesome but just seems odd the Camaro was conspicuously missing here.

They'll review it when it officially gets released more publicly.

The Camaro played a big part in the resurgence of the muscle car in this country and abroad. R&T should correct this oversight.

R & T heard it was a good car as well, but until they get one, its all just talk. That's kind of the way I feel. If the car is as good as GM claims, then they will make a big fuss about it. Remember how good the Mustang with the independent rear was going to be, right up to the point that the track pack Mustang got beat by the 3 year old designed 1LE? Yeah, so does R & T.

That was me being sarcastic in case you couldn't tell. There's already magazines posting numbers for the car and they're all really close to what Chevrolet published. Car and driver got a 3.9 0-60 and a 12.3 1/4, no one has gotten a 12.0 1/4 like Chevrolet posted but they doing better 0-60 times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
