Painted my rims a dark bronze metallic.
Tried to use Plastic Dip Smoke color Thursday but it was a miserable failure trying to get the shading consistent.
I like the result!

No rear bowtie - that looks good.

How hard was it to remove? Did you use dental floss to carefully cut through the sticky tape?

Man, I installed cat back exhaust today and I'm not happy.. So of they go next week and back to stock.. It sucks because they sound ok but my car, is a convertible and it's just a bit to load for my taste.. And I'm sure my wife is going to hate it.. Thank god I have a Silverado to drive. So back to stock on the cameo I will go..

It was easy. Used a hair dryer and fishing line and worked slowly. Of course most of the tape stayed on the car and not the bowtie. I used rubbing alcohol to get it off.

Lost one and gained one...

Let's see... For New Year's day 2016 @ 0748 I totaled my beautiful 2011 2LT-RS (with various mods) when some dumb jerk driving a ragged out '07 Lincoln Town Card decided that it was more important to look down on the floor for his soft-drink and yak at his g.f. than to look and see the RED LIGHT facing him. NO proof of Insurance and an expired license plate tag. What a WONDERFUL new year's day...

SO,
Yesterday (02JAN16) I ended up spending nearly $40k for a new one; now I have to start all over again with the mods.

I also really need to find out about those "running lights" on the new one; when do they ever come on?

Hey my friend.....we're all Camaro owners.

I will say, the sixth gen is an amazing automobile. Have to hand it to GM on this one. I've aspired to a Corvette for some time now but this sixth gen has all the right bits from the Vette, to make me happy.
