ok, so everyone who was following my question about how quick bolt on mustangs run in the 1/4 and my hs acquaintence/friend has a 2014 GT and was going to race (but didn't show up to the last event for 'muffler issues' - well, he showed up this time around. i like pictures, so i'll start with that.

Caution: it starts LOUD at full throttle - had issues with the camera, barely started in time!


Next Race

me vs challenger Hellcat - which later i found out had 700rwhp from someone who knew him in a race group. Also note, he's putting on fire gloves in the video and has some nice beefy tires, so you can safely assume he's not a stock cat, and you can hear my commentary reflecting me expecting to get obliterated. I definitely didn't beat the car, but i did beat the driver - to the finish line (i lost the race overall, but very close
since my reaction time was QUICK, i crossed line first, but he ran faster time (still made for a great video, and i do get some bragging rights on keeping up with a hellcat right? lol)

Next Race
I've been racing a friend who is in his 70's and has a s/c'd challenger a few times now (you can go back and see our other videos). I tried to shave some weight off to give me a little bit of an extra edge, but he still took me - close race, but his reaction time was NEAR perfect -.001! (i did spin pretty bad in the launch, but no complaints, was a great / fun race)
