All lowering springs have a higher spring rate than stock simply due to the nature of what they are. The Pfadt springs are a progressive spring and have the closest to a stock ride than any of the others. A bit more firm but not hard or harsh in any way.

Does lowering the Car effect the handling and the set up of the 1LE, I was thinking of doing this but was told I should not because of Suspension set up, would defet the purpose of having a 1LE

Yes, you need an alignment and the bushings need to be timed/clocked.

It does effect the handling, in a positive way. Lowering the car lowers the center of gravity of the car which makes it more responsive. Lowering springs also have improved spring rates which reduced body roll and keeps the car flat in the corners.

Where would the bushings be timed/clocked at? Would the dealer be able to accomplish this or a specialty race shop more likely?

OP, the drop looks good. Do you have more pictures?

Here is more info on timing the bushings. Any place that does alignments should be more than capable of doing it but may not be familiar with it. Your best bet is to print off the info and give it to them.

Here are some more photos of 1LEs with the 1.25" springs.
