Careful, soapboxes aren't capable of supporting large amounts of bullshit. You're almost at capacity.

First post, first Chevrolet, and I am not young! I have a white Z28 2014, and it is without a doubt the most exciting car I have ever owned, bar none! I have had it a year, and never get tired of driving it. Each time I drive it, it is like the day I drove it off the lot. I have had many sports cars, but not one like this.
This car is totally unique, and will never be repeated. I do not think Chevrolet will ever build a car that is single purpose like this, without electronics and gadgetry galore. I rejoice in the fact that this car is bare bones, ready for the track. No magnetic shocks, no adjustable this or that. It comes one way, ready to race. When they make a Gen 6 Z28 it will be a street car that can be adjusted to use on the track. NOT THE SAME THING! The LS7 is an amazing engine, and it will also never be repeated. Turbos and superchargers are not the same as naturally aspirated, and cannot be made to drive the same. I love this car for what it is, and the fact that Chevrolet never got to the 5,000 units they hoped to sell proves it is not a car for everyone, and they probably lost money on it. Again a big reason it will never be repeated. I believe this car is the end of an era. Soon all cars will drive themselves and be filled with electronic wizardry that will continue to lessen the driving experience we all crave. I believe the future value of the car will be good, but only when people recognize how great the car really is, and that it gives it's owners a driving experience that is like no other. |

Couldnt agree more. Pete K. Welcome by the way. Even when they produce a Gen6 Z28, it wont be anything like it is now. Will there be compromises, yes, will it beat the Gen5, maybe. But I dont care. The Gen5 has a more muscular look than the Gen6, and will go down as one of the best cars of the decade.

Aren't Z28s selling for more than ZL1s, both new and used? I'm genuinely curious how a Z28 is worth less than a ZL1.

2015 Camaro Z/28 20K Price Drop!!!

Choco will tell you the Z/28 is a bad car because it doesn't have NAV. In another thread he said "Everyone buys cars for NAV". He's also a knuckle dragger that thinks 1/4 mile times are all that matter and that makes the ZL1 superior (in his opinion). He has never driven a Z/28 so he really has no idea what he is talking about. There have been plenty of contributors on this site - and in this thread - that have owned ZL1s and Z/28s and every single one of them has said the Z/28 is superior. I have yet to see someone that has driven both say they regret buying the Z/28. I have driven both and the Z/28 is head and shoulders better than the ZL1. |

Multi Chevorlet has a new 2015 white Z28 with air for $54,999 , went to see it last night and was a little disappointed that the front and rear bumpers and roof molding was a little yellow in color did not match the white painted metal hood and quarter panels . is this normal ? Their explanation was that metal and plastic parts paint differently . This to me was a deal breaker as my 2013 1 LE with grey matalliic paint all body panels match perfectly .
