ZL1 spoiler on my 1LE

HI guys, just need some help.

I have a 2013 1LE. I would like to put 2013 ZL1 spoiler on my 1LE is it just a bolt on? I have the standard for that year spoiler, you know that little one. I don't think it looks tough enough. Is their another after market spoiler that is made to look like the OEM that bolts on directly?

What material are they made of?

Thanks

Jim

Jim,

The ZL1 spoiler is not a bolt on you have to drill 2 each new holes in your trunk to mount it. I did mine in a couple of hours, you can plug the old holes with the plastic christmas tree plugs, just paint the tops with some matching touch up paint.

I ordered a carbon fiber ZL1 spoiler from G5 here on Camaro5, you will have to order the light separate. Nathan new where to order the light and the remade wiring to hook it all up.

Thanks for the information, much appreciated. How about some of the aftermarket ZL1 type spoilers from Pfyc or phastek. do they match the holes in my trunk? Also a few others are shown on Amazon. Do any of them just bolt on.

Subbed. I'd like to do the same mod for more rear downforce which I plan on also adding a 14-15 hood vent and an underside belly pan to even out the front. I may also attach a wicker bill to the ZL1 spoiler too If I go aftermarket splitter.

I'm on the same track, ZL1 type spoiler, ZL1 GFX, not sure about ZL1 rear diffuser, but atleast the GFX part that's sold separately for the rear quarter panel behind the wheels. Last but not least the 2014 2015 hood vent.

Sounds cool, no belly pan for me.

Hey guys still need some recommendations on ZL1 type spoilers that directly bolt on, where to buy one and which one is best, material, fiberglass, etc.

Thanks
Jim

I put a Vinal rear spoiler on my car, I like the way it looks . I am not sure you can still get them . Mind is made out of carbon fiber.
