Looks silly but sure works well, most people just wear hats instead though.

I have to agree with you on this one. It should be against the law!
If you want the windows up, then get the sedan with a sun roof.

Yeah, but they do that for privacy. Usually, the windows are heavily tinted as well.

My pet peeve is when 'vert owners are driving with their windows down but with the top up. The air builds up in the interior and then the top swells up like a balloon. It makes the car look like a funny bubble top.

My pet peeve is a 'vert with the top up, period. They don't look good. That 2016 sure has a fancy top though, can retract it at speeds up to 30 mph.

Dunno how this turned into a 'vert thread though.... remember when cars used to have under hood lights, but no light in the trunk?

Back in the day ordering a car was fun.. You pick what model you like for example lets say a 1969 Nova, you go to the dealer and pick all the option like engine and what not.. You could get a SS with multiple engines, multiple options and really make it a custom car for you.

I agree it verts don't look good with the top up and the cloth material. That's the reason I could never get a vert. I wish they made a 5th gen camaro with a T-top like the stingray!

Anyone have any insight into why and what is lighted over the years? We've owned Chevys since before I was born. All our '60s & 70's cars had trunk and under hood lamps. The glove box was lighted as well as the footwells and even the ashtrays.

Strange thing I had an '02 LT Silverado with hood light, footwell lamps glove box lamp, and even ashtray lamps. Really was disappointed on my '013 and '014 trucks that had basically none of that. Why??? I'd have paid extra to be able to see at night. Any ideas or theories?

I AGREE!!!!!! I bought a convertible for a reason. And I'm lucky enough to live in Vegas where the weather is great year round. Now....people here say it's too hot in summer to drop the top. Mine is ALWAYS down with the A/C on. In winter...you'll see me with the heat and seat warmers on but the top is DOWN!!!!

The sun visors should be able to slide on the bar it mounts to. Many cars do this.

Our sun visors are totally useless.

No worries.

I'm 6'2 and have to pull the seat almost all the way back. For me the visors arent low enough and don't go far enough back.
