The 20% off Black Friday month is over for Camaros.

A week or two ago I checked the GM site for current offers and they had Camaros at 20% cash back as part of their "Black Friday all month sale." I was on the fence about trading in my '14 1LT and getting an SS, so I checked the GM site again tonight. Now the only deals are on ZL1s, and even those are minimal ($1500.00 off, 0% APR, etc.). Oh well, maybe I'll strike gold on a year-end clearance sale.

Huh. That's weird. I guess they don't have all their pages synced. Here's where I got my info:
http://www.chevrolet.com/current-dea...-zipcode=34234

I scrolled down to the Camaro offers. Clicking that link brings up different info than your link... I like your link better!

The 20% rebate has never been shown there because it is not available for every unit.
Now go find one !

Oh, I'm lookin' now!

Even if I don't find a good deal on a '15, possibly someone will trade in one that I like when the 16s are out.

If not, I'll wait until the end of next year and keep my fingers crossed for a clearance on a '16... or get impatient and buy one in the Spring!

Valid until Nov 30. But its based on stock of 15's and the dealer itself. My dealer is offering the 20% on all 15's on their lot, across all models.

I was considering trading my 1LE on an SS, but my dealer only had one in stock and it was on hold. They were offering a GM $2000 incentive (the most I've seen on an SS) AND $5500 from the dealer, for a total of $7500 cash off.

You got off light. I wanted to trade in my 1LT for a 2SS/RS vert, and found one with the Spring Edition Green Flash package (about a 5k addition) for $41k. The following is my tale of woe, copied from another thread I posted to earlier:

This morning I saw that a dealer about 50 miles away had a 2SS convertible with the Emerald Spring Green package (about 5k value) so I called them up. I asked the guy to make sure it qualifies for the 20% discount. After a few minutes he called me back, and said, yes, the MSRP is $51k, and the sale price is $41k (roughly); that's 20%. I told him I was trading in a 2014 1LT with only 6200 miles on it, and he said, "oh yeah, we can get you a good price." I told him that I'm coming from 50 miles away, so I want to make sure we can work something out to make it worth the drive. "Oh definitely. Come on down."

So an hour later I get there and he fiddles with his computer for a few minutes, then says to hang on a minute while he goes into the boss's office. I knew what was coming next. He comes back: "you're gonna want to kill me."
"Oh, let me guess. It's sold, right?"
"I'm sorry, they just sold it last night. I don't know why it was still in the system. I swear I wouldn't have made you drive that far on purpose... blah blah blah... let me see if I can find you something else." (after a few minutes in the boss's office again) "sorry, there's nothing within 500 miles of here. I'm really sorry. I can put some gas in your car and make it up to you."
I just shook my head. "Forget it, you've wasted enough of my time My car has such low mileage (6200 miles for an 18-month old for a Camaro), that I want to keep it down to retain some of the trade-in value. Now the odometer is 100 miles higher.

Good thing I took the Interstate home because the road rage I felt wouldn't have been good driving through the city.

No offense, but anyone who buys cars from time to time has had something similar happen. It's an imperfect world. Sorry for your 100 miles of wasted time, but move on and good luck with the next deal. It's not worth getting upset over. Besides, as you know.... 100 miles in a Camaro is never wasted. Lol!!!

Yeah, I guess it happens to everyone once. I just hope that was mine! I shouldn't gripe about losing something I never actually had. What peeves me most isn't the time or gas I spent, it's that I was so, SO psyched while driving there. The car was already on the lot, so I wouldn't have to wait for delivery, and it was early enough in the day for my bank to approve the loan that afternoon. I was expecting to be driving home behind the wheel of a new car in a few hours. I walked in there on cloud 9, and within 10 minutes I left, ready to punch a wall. Meh... First World problems; there's always next year.

I totally get. Sounds like you had a natural reaction and are now getting over it. Good attitude. Believe me, there are plenty of fish in the sea....

I just bought my new 15 SS1 6 spd. with the 20% deal. I paid $27,600 for the car. When I called the dealer said the car was not on the promo, but he could put it on. I had to wait 4 days for that to happen, but I got a great deal at the end of the day.

Good job! Yup, that's exactly 20% off the MSRP of $34,500. I think at this point the dealers know they don't have to go any lower than Chevy's 20% to close the deal on an SS, even though they could take off another thousand and still make a profit; the SSs are drying up quick.
