For the OP, you might try stepping down from the white pad and 205 to the blue, or even to the red.

A friend of mine owns a body shop and had recently painted an older Chevy Nova in Victory Red, I was kind of confused as the base looked lighter than mine. He informed me that their are 6 different shades of Victory Red.

Manufacturers who paint cars change the clearcoat from time to time. You can have two 2014 Camaro RS with one having a harder clearcoat then the other.

You could also try the "watering down" of the 205 as well. Do a section until you get the results desired, and complete car with same process. Some times it takes several tries to get your combo just right.

With 205 your not going to remove a lot of paint, so trying different pads, or watered down 205 is not going to take off much paint anyway.

For me, I like Carpro Reflect better than 205. it's not as oily, wipes off easier, and doesn't leave any marring except really finicky paint. If I get someone else wanting a Subaru polished, I'm sending them to Merlin! Paint actually became "sticky" after polishing

WOAH MY BAD! I've been using M205 finishing polish with a white pad to finish and still haven't gotten the results, I haven't used m105 since I cut like a year ago.
I guess you could say is, there looks like spiders webs are on my car. (if it's not waxed)

YES! This is exactly what I needed! Exactly!@!@

Didn't quite feel like dropping 60 bucks on polish so I bought some microfiber pads and carpro reflect. It should do the job!

Microfiber pads don't generally finish down as well as foam in my experience using both, I haven't used microfiber for finishing though except with the Megs DMC5Kit I got for my initial swirl removal and finishing. The finishing was (Megs D301) which is a wax, it didn't produce a high gloss, more of a soft glow.

Very low durability, lasted about 3 weeks. I then tried the Megs D302 polish, and it did somewhat bring up the gloss, but it's a non abrasive polish, and really actually filled more then anything else.

I got a speedy prep towel to remove it, and some contaminates a month later, used the towel incorrectly, and had some light marring just on the "hills" of the normal orange peel that cars have.

I called Corey @ Carpro USA, and he recommended Reflect on a LC Hydrotech Tangerine pad. I finally had the results I wanted. This was used on a GG 6" which is very similar to your PC.

I recently tried a 5 1/2" Scholl Concepts "honey" pad with Reflect on my Rupes 21 w 5" backing plate and KB washer mod.

Here is how it came out.
