I have some little pin holes from air bubbles forming overnight but I don't think it will affect it much if at all.

Thanks!!! I read all of the porting threads and your posts and thought what the heck...

JB Weld. One batch from the commercial sized tubes is more than enough. I mixed it in a Yogurt cup and poured it in.

Awesome. Thanks for the great pics. Hope it works for you. I just ordered a silicone 90 degree with the correct size for 80mm tb and my cai. Once I get it and it looks good then I'll go with spacer, ported intake, 80mm and a tune. I'm hoping this set up is the key for these lfx's. I only have cai,Vtc and catch can for engine other than Royal purple oil.

What are you guys using for the new 80 mm tb coupling? I have a rotofab, what's the recommended size?

The 80mm tb is 3.5" and just measure the tube of the cai and look online to find the connection. I found it on eBay but I still need to get it in hand to verify it fits for me. I'm running K&N. I think this is the missing piece in this setup which is stopping people from getting it.

It would be easier if it came with the throttle body. Maybe if there was a drop down menu or something that let you select what intake brand you have. But it's not too big of a challenge just need to take some extra time is all

I was going to wait until I found out it actually worked before I put info out. I hate for us all to get the incorrect part. But I'll pm you.

Back to the thread title. Ipf tuning: I just ordered from Andy. Great and helpful guy. I learned a lot about these lfx engines and hopefully I'm pleased with the tune. I picked one up for the wife's turbo RS Cruze as well.
These guys are the real deal, no gimmicks.

Thanks for the heads up. It should make the wife happy in her zippy cruise. It only has a drop in k&n filter. Not getting crazy on it, just her dd.
Now my camaro I'm trying the tune then the 80mm tb, ported intake and spacer in that order and not sure how they'll do or if is a waste of money on these engines. I'll be removing my VTC before my tune as well. I think I messed up on my mod order a bit or at least jumped the gun on a few things so if they don't add anything then it's removed.

I also tried removing my VTC last week and just using the increased throttle response from the ported tb and the tune and it's still horrible compared to the VTC. I just can't live without it.

The Cruze can actually get up and going for what it is. I had an intake, catless downpipe and midpipe, cat-back, tune and ported the manifold myself and it made around 180 whp and just over 200 wtq. With meth or E85 they can get real crazy. The Cruze had the sickest exhaust note of any car I've ever owned too. I miss it for sure.
Looking forward to getting the tune for both cars. Thanks for all of your help. It's a B to get in the pedal area and I've got it hidden stealthy in center console so I'll leave it on for now. Thanks.

Well i need trouble shooting help..! recieved the tune and plugged it into my computer and pulled up the program provided.. on the tune moduel the blue blinking light is on for usb mode but on the computer program it just keeps popping a dialoug box up saying connect ipf with the pc. I have tried everything... turned windows firewall off, tried using my laptop with ethernet cable and nothing has worked. Just keeps saying connect ipf with the pc. I have called and emailed ipf but im assuming they are closed on the weekend. If anybody knows what im doing wrong let me know please and thanks.
