Texas World Speedway with JPSS Aero (Pictures & Video)

This is the first track event that I've done since installing the JPSS aero on my car, and I'm impressed. I didn't change anything since the last time I ran at TWS, and I was using the exact same tires. I ended up shaving 3 seconds off my best time. How do I know the aero is working (aside from improvement on lap times)? Well on turn 1 & turn 9 my exhaust now makes contact with the ground, shooting sparks. This is the first time this has ever happened. I am not lowered, just running 305/30/19 tires. I had a ton of fun, in particular playing cat and mouse with a Porsche GT3, who I eventually caught on lap three in the video below.

Nice. Can't wait to see mine. Gotta wait till Christmas. If things work out I'm going to bring my car over here and hit up Yas Marina F1 circuit. 600 AED for half day. That's less than 200 bucks and you get an instructor if needed. Or so I'm told. I'll be post video for sure.

Nice driving! I need to try the lower line next time I drive TWS... I lift at 140, the pucker factor is pretty high for me coming down that embankment.

I used to use the dive bomb technique but I find that I can have more controlled breaking if I'm lower. One of the instructors swears that the dive bomb is the faster line and that may be at the instructor level but where I'm at, I like coming in lower sooner.
