Back a few months ago August I used my 2011 Silverado to haul my camper up to Cape Cod for a couple of weeks vacation. In April I called and cancelled service because I only use the truck to haul my camper and my enclosed car trailer. When we got back from vacation we got our credit card bill with a $175.00 hit from Sirius. I called to find out why it was on my card and they said I called and reactivated the service? So I asked the person I was dealing with when I had called them? They could not come up with a date so I told them my next phone call was to my lawyer on a fraud charge and to credit my card imidiately. After a 45 minute call and total BS I finally got them to remove the charge. I can not believe that GM works with these people throughout all of their brands. They are complete a $$es to deal with!

You can listen to xm on your computer. its a extra $3.95 a month. I use it in the garage or house instead of buying a new radio and subscription.

Five a month sounds good. I'll negotiate with that one.

I've been a Sirius junkie for over ten years... have it on three vehicles, and I think it is worth every penny to have uninterrupted access to my favorite news and sports channels no matter where I am, and especially the live PxP sports coverage. I do prefer Sirius over XM (have Sirius in the Ford and XM in the two GM vehicles), but I'm not complaining overall. I get that it is not for everyone, but it works well for me. That being said, I didn't find any value in OnStar, so I chose not to pay for that service.

I've never had it, but honestly the comedy central channel makes me reconsider every time there is a free month

I purchased XM lifetime several years ago for less than 400. Had it transferred twice but they won't anymore. Anyways I enjoyed it but the lifetime is on our family vehicle and we drive ALOT. I won't renew in the Camaro unless I can get it for a really good deal.

If it is a lifetime subscription, I would think it should transfer each time you sell/trade the vehicle it was in.

My wife has a 12 minute commute to work each way while I hardly ever drive anymore. I only listen to 1 station CNBC which is loaded with commercials. Ready to drop them as well since their charges are out of their mind. Glad I cut my cable bill 10 years ago SCAM! |

I think mine is about $14/month for the all-access plan where I get all the channels in the car and on my phone. I like to have for the sports, mostly, and I can listen over the wi-fi at work. To me it's worth it just for that.
For music, I think Pandora is definitely better. I haven't found the Stitcher offers much except old podcasts and I haven't used that very much. |

Every time they turn it on for a free promo it proves to me again why I don't like it. Taking my eyes and concentration off the road while I am pushing buttons trying to find a song. All I need anymore is an AM radio with one speaker in the middle of the dash.
